BAPIA Funday hailed a huge success

The latest BAPIA Funday – Christmas with Qualatex – was the final event for 2022 and was co-hosted with Pioneer Europe – Qualatex Balloons.

Last month, the Funday venue was transformed with creative Christmas balloon displays by Tope Abulude, Doctor Bob, Sue Bowler, Karla-Bell Marsh, Natalie Saunders, Lynda Webb, Debbie O’Neill and the Qualatex team, Lucy Hennessey and Julie Dunham.

Offering the opportunity to meet up and network with like-minded balloon professionals, the Fundays feature inspiring seasonal demonstrations, a business session, lunch and refreshments.

The association says the feedback from the recent session and previous events has been overwhelming, with many positive comments from attendees. For example, one delegate said: “Yesterday I spent the day at BAPIA Christmas Funday. We watched tutorials from top names in the balloon world, listened to advice on the business side of our art and took part in a fun competition. I just love love love a balloon family day.”

BAPIA Fundays will resume in 2023 with some new training opportunities.
