Christmasworld Trends 23+ focuses on classic and sustainable decor

Christmasworld is back in 2023 at the Frankfurt exhibition centre from 3 to 7 February and this year, the Trend area will offer daily lectures explaining the relevant trends.

Christmasworld Trends 23+ in the Trends area of the show will see a much stronger focus on sustainability and new creations resulting from a mix of traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques.

Annetta Palmisano from trend bureau bora.herke.palmisano, commented: “Moments of joy are precious. Good design that knows heritage and the future helps us celebrate them even more beautifully. More than ever before, the focus is on sustainability: material research and digital innovations hold new aesthetic solutions in store.”

On behalf of Messe Franfurt, the trend bureau bora.herke.palmisano provides buyers and manufacturers with reliable forecasts and inspiration for product range design.

Three trend statements have been identified for 2023: unknown beauty – focusing on reflections, patterns and light and shadow; calming nature – focuses on calm vitality and nature-loving minimalism; and lasting ideas – decorations which make a clear design statement.

Lectures from the trend bureau will take place in the Conzoom Solutions Academt in the Europa Hall 4.0 on Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 11.45am and 2.45pm, and on Saturday at 12.45pm and 3.45pm.
