Club Green celebrates 40 years

Having begun life in 1982 as a small family run business, Club Green was the first to bring wedding favours to the UK from Italy. 40 years later, weddings are still a core part of the business, but it has grown beyond recognition into one of the leading party suppliers in the world.

40 years in business has seen Club Green overcome an array of challenges, demonstrating the team’s strength and determination. Michele Gaudelli, commercial director, explains: “We managed to pull the company through the Great Recession period that occurred between 2007 and 2009. Since then, we have encountered many other issues such as Brexit, Covid 19, the fall of the dollar against the pound, huge hikes in shipping cost, supply chain issues and now the impact of the current war.

“We have built a very solid business with great loyal customers that we are thankful for,” he continues. “Our customers are one of the key ingredients to our successful business and I have always said to our staff that without good customers, you are not a good business, hence why we give our customers the very best products and service.”
