Easley’s Fun Shop donates party stock to charities

The new owner of a fourth-generation family-owned costume shop in Phoenix (US), is donating all the costumes and party supplies inside to charities and children’s hospitals.

The building that housed Easley’s Fun Shop will be turned into a restaurant and retail space and so owner Erick Harrell is looking for worthy causes to take all of the merchandise off his hands.

“We ended up getting a lot of inventory that we thought we could do a lot of good with,” said Erick. “We have lots of brand-new costumes, tons that have never been out of the package. Boxes and boxes of them. Lots of toys. All sorts of wigs and other fun items.”

“We’d like to donate any and all of the merchandise to any charities, especially charities revolving around children, schools, and any type of nonprofits,”he continued.

Harrell says he’s already unloaded about six semi truck loads of merchandise, but tons of items remain. At the time of sale, the store held 5,000 costumes for rent and 10,000 for sale.

Anyone interested in the merchandise can call US (602) 545-9840.
