Balloon walls listed as top trend for 2020

Decorators and balloon keeping an eye on the biggest wedding trends for 2020 will be pleased to see that balloon walls have been listed as one of the biggest decor fashions for the coming year.

According to Hamish Shephard, founder of wedding planning app Bridebook.co.uk, the balloon walls act as Insta-worthy focal points for weddings, as; “millenial couples typically love grand backdrops”.

Balloon walls also have the added bonus of being an affordable alternative to elaborate floral arrangements, particularly helpful when millennials are focusing on saving for their future but still want their wedding to stand out from the crowd.

According to party consultant Mindy Weiss, writing for marthastewartweddings.com, balloon walls are the new flower walls. “Balloons are no longer just for kid’s parties and New Year’s Eve—they make for wonderful, celebratory décor for any event, including weddings,” she explains. “These types of decorations aren’t any old balloon arch from the homecoming dance.”
