Party names show support to preschool industry

Costume and party companies Smiffys and Amscan have reinforced their focus on the preschool industry by showing their support for the sector at the Progressive Preschool Awards 2019.

Hosted by award-winning comedian Stuart Goldsmith, the prestigious awards event was a roaring success, with more than 400 retailers, suppliers and industry legends coming together to celebrate the winners who took to the stage to collect their trophies.

Amscan hosted the Best Independent Apparel Retailer award, which was presented to Amy Cuttil, owner of Snügg Kids by Amscan’s licensing director Mel Beer (pictured left, with Stuart and Amy).

Smiffys sponsored the Best Independent Toy Retailer category, which was presented to Bhav Patel, director of Toy Galaxy by Smiffys’ trade marketing manager Sharon Poulter (pictured right, with Stuart and Bhav).

Both party experts also added an element of fun to the goody bags given to each and every guest, with Smiffys offering a festive Christmas elf headband and Amscan including a high-end Disney Boutique dress.

The awards are hosted and organised by Progressive Party Europe’s sister publication Progressive Preschool.
