Fourth branch of The Village Emporium party shop opens in Truro

A fourth branch of The Village Emporium party shop has opened in Truro (Cornwall, UK), offering fancy dress, party supplies, gifts, cards and decorations.

The latest addition to The Village Emporium portfolio comes after a Falmouth branch was opened just last year. According to brothers Gareth and Kevin Morgan, who own the family business, that store ‘exceeded expectations’, so opening another new branch was a simple decision.

The business first started 30 years ago, specialising in DVD rentals. As streaming websites took hold, business began to decline and so the pair shifted their focus towards selling party supplies.

Since then The Village Emporium has gone from strength to strength, with a second store opening in Kent and then a third in Falmouth’s Boslowick Road in summer 2018.

In addition to offering products for retail, The Village Emporium also offers full balloon and event decorating as well as  a personalised card and gift service.
