Pineapples were the flavour of the day at the recent Kentucky Derby in Louisville, USA, where the OppoSuits Shineapple design was seen in a number of different guises.
The blue suit, which features a bright pineapple print and is a new line for 2018, was seen on many fashion-forward racegoers across the weekend (4 – 5 May). The prevalence of the cheerful pattern indicates the popularity of pineapples as a fashion motif for this year.
The tropical fashion statement could be clearly seen under the transparent ponchos used to protect people from the rain and was worn both in groups and individually.
In fact, many of Opposuits’ designs were on display at the Kentucky Derby, but the Shineapple style was by far the most popular among attendees.
