Spielwarenmesse 2020: party hall highlights – Amscan, Boland Party, Bristol Novelty and Disguise

With a hall and a half entirely dedicated to carnival products, dress-up and other festive items, the Nuremberg Toy Fair (29 January – 2 February) is an essential visit for European party retailers looking to be ahead of the game in 2020.

Billed as the place where ‘international toy markets come together’, the six-day show brings together over 270 exhibitors from over 37 different countries in Hall 9 alone, showcasing their latest lines from across the wide-ranging festival, carnival and fireworks market.

Here are a few highlights:

Amscan, Hall 9, Stand A55 – C58

amscanAmscan’s stand will give visitors a feeling for the latest trends and focus topics for the coming year across the party business. New lines on show this year will include the cute little kittens from 44 Cats, thanks to a bright range of party items, and with the new Minions movie scheduled for 2020, the yellow characters are set to make a big come back. Amscan will be showing offical party products including tableware, decoration, balloons and much more.

Boland Party, Hall 9, Stand E57

bolandBoland’s new 2020/21 catalogue will be available at Spielwarenmesse, showcasing almost 600 brand new products for the coming year, including a selection of fresh new themes across tableware and party decorations, offering everything from bunting and balloons through to pinatas, wall decorations and beer mats.

Bristol Novelty, Hall 9, Stand B33

Bristol NoveltyBristol Novelty is returning for its second year at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2020, with a stand which will be very visibly Halloween-orientated. The large mask display will be hard to miss as it features all of the company’s newest and creepiest masks which will be in-demand this Halloween. Costumes are equally gruesome, with modern adaptations of zombies and clowns alongside classical vampires and devils for grown-ups and children alike.

Disguise, Hall 9, Stand C03

disguiseDisguise is a leader in the Halloween industry, creating innovative and trend-setting costumes and accessories. Its team is comprised of a group of gifted in-house designers, sculptors and graphics artists from various creative backgrounds including Hollywood movie sculpt design, the fashion industry and gallery-showcased fine arts.
