Disney Dresses For The Big Day

Japan-based wedding company Kuraudia has partnered with Walt Disney Japan for a collection of colourful princess-inspired wedding gowns.

The gorgeous collection, inspired by some of Walt Disney’s iconic princesses, includes 14 different dresses, inspired by six of Disney’s most popular princesses.

From Cinderella’s ball gown to Belle’s iconic yellow ballroom dress from Beauty and the Beast, the dresses – which are currently only available in Japan – are only available to hire.

Dresses are inspired by the iconic looks seen on Belle (from Beauty and the Beast), Ariel (from The Little Mermaid), Rapunzel (from Tangled), Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty), Cinderella and Snow White.

The gowns cost upwards of £2,660 to rent for a special day – and there are also a number of bridesmaid’s dresses and Prince Charming outfits available for just £670.

Some dresses have been taken directly from the movie, such as the interpretation of Belle’s ballgown from Beauty and the Beast. Other designs have taken liberties from the iconic princess looks – for example, the crimson strapless gown is inspired by Snow White’s ruby red lips and the poisoned apple she bites.
