Research by Aura Print, has shown the top ten anti-wedding wedding trends appearing on TikTok for this summer:
- Anti-bride – 28.4 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 130%.
- Cheap wedding – 19.2 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 66%
- Short wedding dress – 15.3 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 156.4%
- Mismatched bridesmaid dresses – 5 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 9,900%.
- Wedding suit for brides – 3.6 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 177%.
- Colourful wedding dresses – 2.5 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 210%.
- Naked wedding cake – 1.8 million TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 426.3%.
- Wedding mocktails – 238.2k TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 229.6%.
- Elope wedding – 229.9k TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 29%.
- Upcycled wedding dress – 41.4k TikTok hashtag views and a search increase of 6,700%.
