New editorial face for PartyWorldwide.net and Progressive Party

Leading title to the party, balloon and dress-up sector Progressive Party and Partyworldwide.net is pleased to announce the appointment of experienced business journalist Katie Roberts-Mason as editor.

Katie has many years under her belt with tenures including a toy industry trade title a number of years ago, before Katie moved on to join KD UK as the company’s consumer marketing manager, giving her in-depth knowledge of the supplier side of the business. Since 2015, she has been freelancing in copywriting, marketing, social media and web roles for Good Play Guide, community interest company Families in Focus and Kilogrammedia, as well as contributing to a number of other publications in the Max Publishing stable.

She joins following the departure of Jacqui Parr who has taken a great opportunity to step into a new role outside of the Max Publishing business following a very successful 11 year tenure as the face of Progressive Party and PartyWorldwide.net.

“Progressive Party is a thoroughly interesting title for me, both the publication and the news website appear to be held in such high esteem by the industry thanks to the great work that Jacqui has done; it’s a big honour to take the helm,” said Katie.

“With retail trying to stabilise and people ready to get back to business after the latest lockdown, now is a perfect time to for me to play my part in what I can see is a colourful, interesting industry.”

Rob Willis, publisher of Progressive Party and co-owner at Max Publishing said: “Whilst I am still a sad little bunny coming to terms with my very good friend Jacqui moving onto pastures new, I am also thrilled to be able to introduce Katie to this fantastic sector, I know you will all offer her the same friendship and fun that you’ve supported myself and Jacqui with for a long time now.”

Work is underway on the next edition and Katie can be reached via email on katierm@max-publishing.co.uk
