Party names shine at New York Toy Fair

This week’s New York Toy Fair has seen some of the biggest names in the international party industry launching their latest collections to retailers and buyers from across the US.

Organised by The Toy Association, New York Toy Fair takes place each February, bringing together thousands of manufacturers, distributors, importers, and sales agents to showcase product to visitors from 100 countries. The sold-out show is a celebration of toys and play, boasting the equivalent of nearly eight football fields filled with product.

The Toy Fair show floor was divided into distinct product zones to help visitors find exactly what they’re looking for, with the dress-up, costumes and role-play products split between a number of different sectors, including  hobby and preschool.

Companies launching new collections at the show included Elope, Forum Novelties, Ghoulish Productions, Imagine by Rubie’s, Moon Creations, Mustaches, Princess Paradise, Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique, Trick or Treat Studios and Underwraps Costumes.

A number of new licences have also been revealed over the course of the show, including Godzilla (Rubie’s), Care Bears (Underwraps) and Halloween (Trick or Treat Studios).
