Smiffys to debut new lines at Star Trek expo

Fancy dress and party experts Smiffys will be making an appearance at a UK Star Trek expo later this month as it launches its latest official dress-up collection.

The official Star Trek dress-up collection will be launching officially on Friday 25 October at Destination Star Trek, a dedicated event for all things Star Trek.

Smiffys’ exclusive range of Star Trek costumes has been created under licence from CBS Consumer Products and pays homage to the franchise’s favourite characters from a number of different series.

The Original Series features Captain Kirk Command and Spock Science uniforms, The Next Generation focuses on Captain Picard Command and Data Operations uniforms while Voyager offers Captain Janeway Command and Starfleet Operations uniforms.

“Star Trek has always been popular; with its timeless appeal, our first designs are an ode to the classic series,” said Dominique Peckett, director at Smiffys.

“We love having retro licenses as part of our growing licence portfolio and the Star Trek range brings the magic of the Starship Enterprise to life.”

Available and in stock from October 2019, resisting this dress-up would be nothing short of futile.

Smiffys will be exhibiting at Destination Star Trek in Birmingham, at the NEC, from the 25-27th October 2019.
