UK set to celebrate Dahlicious Dress Up Day

Celebrations will be taking place across the UK later this week as children, parents and schools come together on Friday 13 September to celebrate the life and works of children’s author Roald Dahl.

The last few years have seen schools and preschools encouraged to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity by taking part in the Dahlicious Dress Up Day, which sees pupils coming into school dressed up as one of his much-loved characters.

While Smiffys has the official Roald Dahl licence for dress-up (with costumes including Matilda, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), many parents will also be looking for generic accessories to complete their chosen look.

More information can be found on the official Roald Dahl website.
