Anniversary plans in place for Moscow Balloon Festival

Plans are in place for this year’s 20th anniversary of the Moscow Balloon Festival, which is taking place from 24 to 27 September 2019.

The largest balloon event in Russia will be making the most of its anniversary celebrations and will once again be held as part of the main toy trade exhibition in Russia – Mir Detstva.

Every year the exhibition is visited by about 60,000 international visitors from different cities and countries.

Last year, the festival attracted about 1,000 exhibitiors, with more than 150 international party shops in attendance as well as a number of different party and balloon suppliers.

Last year, the festival was attended by 30 teams, who travelled from more than 100 cities across Russia, as well as the countries of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Italy, Israel, Poland and China.

“This year is a big, important anniversary for the Festival,” said head of marketing Alexandra Yushkevich. “We are going to celebrate it very bright!”
