Spirit Halloween launches a Kentucky Fried Costume

American specialty retailer Spirit Halloween has teamed up with iconic fast food outlet KFC to launch an official Colonel Sanders costume into the market in time for this year’s Halloween.

The home of fried chicken and chips, Kentucky Fried Chicken has partnered with seasonal Halloween retailer Spirit Halloween to turn its founder, Colonel Harland Sanders and his iconic white suit into an official, limited-edition costume.

Although people have been dressing up as 1950s-style Colonel Sanders for years the official costume will make things easier for them. The costume, which is available in both adult and children’s sizes, includes a button-front jacket with attached shirt, dress pants and accessories such as facial hair, glasses and wig.

“This costume is so official it will have friends and family asking for your secret recipe,” commented Andrea Zahumensky, KFC US chief marketing officer.
