Rubie’s to launch Sesame Street dress-up range

Global dress-up and accessories company Rubie’s Masquerade will be launching a new Sesame Street costume range, bringing the iconic evergreen brand to life.

Fans will be able to dress up as Elmo, Cookie Monster and other characters from the classic TV series as Rubie’s will be developing adult, children’s and pet lines for the popular preschool property.

“Sesame Street has a special place in the hearts of all generations throughout the UK, so the new partnership with Rubies Masquerade is a great addition to the consumer products portfolio,” said Rob Corney, md of Bulldog Licensing, which manages the consumer products programme for Sesame Street in the UK and Eire. “The characters are part of the nation’s fabric and will make fantastic dress-up products.”

Sesame Street celebrated its 50th birthday last year and celebrations will be carrying on throughout 2020 and beyond.
