Phil Bardsley gives Grabo a boost across the UK

UK party stalwart Phil Bardsley has joined Grabo International to help the Italian company expand its UK operations.

Phil – who has spent more than 20 years working in the party industry – was most recently working at Northstar Balloons, until the company was taken over by Pioneer Europe at the end of last year. He has spent the last seven  years concentrating his efforts in mainland Europe and the Middle East.

“I was looking to continue my career in the party industry after leaving Northstar,” said Phil, “in particular the foil balloon side of the business. When  I heard Grabo was looking for a person to introduce and develop their business within the UK it was a perfect fit for both parties.”

Several months down the line – and with the help of a number of wholesalers, internet companies and distributors across the UK – Grabo has a fast-moving consumer balloon offering reaching from Scotland to the south coast of England.

“Many Grabo products offer that ‘point of difference’ that the UK customers demand and deserve,” adds Phil, “I’d like to thank our new Grabo customers for having the conviction (and finding the space!) to promote our lines. I’d also like to thank Jonathan Grassi for welcoming me to the Grassi ‘family’ – Prima Grassi!”

“We are so pleased that we have been able to meet with Phil Bardsley,” said Grabo’s overseas manager Jonathan Grassi. “He immediately became a key player in our game and has helped us to implement our strategy, especially in the UK, where he has been able to help introduce us and our products to the wholesale and distributor sector of the party market.”

“I am also sure he will continue to make our name grow thanks to his great character and professionalism,” added Jonathan. “He has become not just a member of the Grabo galaxy, but also a good friend!”
