BAPIA raffle raises £1,749 for GOSH

During BAPIA’s recent Chris Adamo Tour, the balloon and party industry alliance held a raffle in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

There were 14 wonderful prizes on offer, all very generously donated by a range of sponsors, with the star prize being a Twin Air Sizer II, which was jointly donated by Premium Balloon Accessories and BAPIA.

With the great prizes on offer and in aid os such a fantastic charity, everyone involved hoped to raise a good amount of money and all were delighted when BAPIA’s chief executive John Bowler revealed the final total of £1,749.

“I cannot believe that we have raised such a fantastic amount of money and this is all thanks to the generous prize donors and everybody who bought tickets,” he said. “I cannot thank you all enough!”

The winner of the Premium Twin Air Sizer II was Camilla Chia of Trove Events in Abingdon. Camilla, who was extremely excited when she was told she had won, said: “We are new to the industry so this is an incredible piece of kit for us to be lucky enough to use so early on.”

She added: “The class was absolutely fantastic and we were blown away with the organisation of the day. We are delighted to have played a small part in BAPIA’s fundraising efforts!”
