Taking place from 25 – 27 March, Angels Open Day is returning for its second year in 2018. The open days will once again be held at Angels’ iconic Hendon premises as the family devoted to fancy dress continues to meet the needs of an ever-developing industry.
One of this year’s exhibitors is Leg Avenue and marketing manager Joyce Mallo tells us what she’s hoping to achieve at the three-day show.
“The Angels Open Days are unique because, as suppliers, we are able to net work with a very broad spectrum of clients,” explained Joyce. “This is because Angels Costumiers and Fancy Dress has become such an institute over the last century, the Open Days attract everyone from small boutique owners to bigger branch shop owners.”
Leg Avenue will be showcasing some of its new costumes and its biggest bestsellers at the mini-exhibition. “Leg Avenue costumes are so detailed and of such high quality, this comes across best by seeing and feeling the samples in real life,” added Joyce, who is exhibiting at the show for a number of different reasons.
“It is great to have the possibility to show so many different retailers and buyers our brand-new collection in real life and to be able to talk to them about expected trends for the Halloween season, among others.”
The unusual set-up (exhibitors take over a dedicated section of Angels’ Hendon office space) means that companies of all sizes are able to show on the same level, as Joyce pointed out. “Having the suppliers showcase in Angels’ HQ makes the show just the right size. Visitors can easily take their time with each supplier without feeling rushed – and will still be able to view the main core of the fancy dress world!”
