The UK’s ultimate scary character is revealed

Using data from YouGov, the villainous character Brits find the scariest has been unveiled.

With over 18 options from the survey of 1,745 UK participants, the results revealed that Hannibal Lecter, Pennywise the Clown, Freddy Kruger, Chucky, and Damien from The Omen were the scariest overall.

Wellness brand, Goodrays, which carried out the research, has taken the results and created the ultimate horror villain, featuring Chucky’s hair, Pennywise’s eyes, Hannibal Lecter’s mask, Freddy Kruger’s hands and Damien’s power suit.

The results showed a generational split among respondents. Pennywise was the scariest for both 18-24 year-olds, and 25-49 year-olds. While older generations from 50-64 and 65+ ranked Hannibal Lecter as the scariest.
