Products of Change’s Sustainability 101 Workshop returns

The workshop will return on Wednesday 11 May at the Informa Offices in London, following the success of its in-person debut earlier this year.

Professionals from across the consumer industries are invited to join Products of Change for its next in-person Sustainability 101 Workshop next month.

Following its successful real-world debut in March, Products of Change’s Net Zero ambassador and advisor, June Kirkwood, and POC’s founder, Helena Mansell-Stopher, will deliver an educational session for those taking their first steps towards sustainability.

The last workshops saw execs from the likes of Paramount, BBC, The Insights Group, and Beanstalk among the 18-strong delegates. The workshop in May will deliver the basics of climate change and sustainability, covering environment, social, and Governance elements.

Tickets are priced at £120 plus VAT, with a 20% discount for POC members, and can be purchased here.

Ella Haynes, event manager of Global Licensing Group, the team behind BLE and event hosts of the Sustainability 101 Workshop, commented: “The work that Products of Change does to educate, support, and encourage the industry to make positive and purposeful changes when it comes to sustainability – whether that’s within products design and development, your supply chain, or even within your own business – has been a real game-changer for consumer products.”

The workshop will be followed later in the year by a special workshop on the Circular Economy, hosted by POC’s advisor and independent sustainability consultant, Arthur Parry in July.

Helena said: “We all recognise that business needs to transition if we are to meet the demands of our consumer tomorrow. Transitioning the industry to a more sustainable future will require systems, innovation, and embracing new ways of operating.

“The technologies we need for a better future exist today, it’s understanding these new innovations, such as the circular economy, and starting to adopt them in our everyday that will enable business to flourish and our planet to stabilise.

“The energy and enthusiasm from the room at our first in-person workshop was proof that there is a desire from the industry to learn the necessary skills to innovate for the future. I can’t wait to deliver our next one in May.”
