Australian party retailer, The Party People, has been awarded the title in the annual Party Stylists of the Year awards.
The awards were established over a decade ago to celebrate the emerging industry of professional party styling. Other shortlisted companies for the Partyware Supplier category included A Little Whimsy, Balloonies Studio, Frog Goose & Bear, Lovely Occasions Pty Ltd and The Good Party Co.
Dean Salakas, chief party dude at The Party People, commented: “Winning the award was such a great buzz for our team. To be named best partyware supplier in an industry of many great businesses is very humbling.
“The party industry has had such a tough ride through Covid and to win this award is a great pat on the back for our team who all worked extra hard to ensure we continued to put smiles on people’s faces when they needed it most. The team really deserved this award for going the extra mile in the last few years.
“I was asked to be a judge for next year, which I have accepted and so will assist the awards next year and give back to the industry that we all love.”
