http://www.bacitaly.comEurope’s biggest balloon convention BACI has postponed its 2020 event, which had been due to take place in March, in response to the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Originally scheduled to be taking place in Milan from Friday 20 – Tuesday 24 March 2020, BACI (Balloon Art Convention Italy) organisers issued a statement last week, postponing the show until later in the year.
The statement read: ‘Following the orders issued by Regione Lombardia and Municipality of Milan we believe it is essential, for the safety of our customers and for the correct conduct of the event, we must postpone the #BACI2020. All registrations made to date will remain valid.’
The new dates have already been announced, and BACI will now be taking place from Friday 13 – Tuesday 17 November 2020.
The delayed event will continue in exactly the same format, including a wide range of balloon-focused business insights and practical presentations, including seminars, competitions, exams and other networking opportunities.
