American balloon artist Molly Balloons held a full-scale Balloon Fashion Show fundraiser on Friday 15 November at The Truman in Kansas, US.
Described as ‘an evening of balloon fashion, entertainment, drinking, dancing, and endless photo opportunities’, the show is now in its fourth year and featured some stunning balloon couture fashion and decor accompanied by acrobatics and other performances with music and dancing until 3am.
Best known for her balloon dresses and installations, the Balloon Fashion Show is Molly Balloons’ flagship event, bringing together everything in her wide and varied repertoire.
“The Balloon Fashion Show is a bit ‘Mars Nightlife’ meets ‘Willy Wonka Back Alley Rave’ meets ‘Intergalactic Illuminati’ meets ‘Adderall’ meets ‘Christian Dior’s Hemlines of 2004’ meets ‘Berlin Club Kid’ meets ‘Met Gala’ meets ‘Cottage Cheese’,” commented Molly.
The annual event will be back with a different balloon theme next year.
