Dr Bob brings 16,000 balloons to Cardiff’s Red Dragon Centre

Balloon artist Dr Bob bought 16,000 balloons to Cardiff Bay’s popular entertainment complex, The Red Dragon Centre, as part of the exciting Balloon Art Fiesta.

The event, which took place over the bank holiday weekend and showcased a number of spectacular balloon sculptures, is a full-scale installation made up of over 16,000 Qualatex latex balloons.

Creating the immersive experience took Dr Bob and his team – the award-winning and internationally acclaimed Doctor Bob Balloons Unlimited – more than 2,000 man hours in total.

The Balloon Art Fiesta included a number of wildlife sculptures and flower scenes, with an enchanting willow tree scene made up of over 7,000 mocha brown, white, and rose-pink balloons taking centre-stage. Other sculptures included a giant colourful butterfly, towering sunflowers and blossoming flowers as well as a magical toadstool scene.

“We were very excited to be a part of the Balloon Art Fiesta at The Red Dragon Centre this summer,” commented Dr Bob. “Our aim is to always ensure we’re creating spectacular displays that our clients love.”
