Rubie’s T-Rex costume stars in viral video

Rubie’s inflatable T-Rex costume has taken centre stage in the latest viral video to be dominating newsfeeds across the world.

No stranger to online videos, the popular Jurassic World T-Rex costume has been attracting attention as it crops up in increasingly unexpected places since early last year and now has its very own YouTube channel TREX Tuesdays, which has 15,000 subscribers.

The latest video to capture the public’s attention was posted on the facebook page of the Emerald Downs Racetrack in Washington, showing more than 30 competitors dressed in the T-Rex costumes racing on the track.

The video, which currently has more than 32 million views, has been shared more than 500,000 times. If you’ve missed it, you can take a look here.

“Is there anything better than a group of like-minded people swapping the norm for unbridled (excuse the pun) silliness?,” commented Rubie’s UK marketing manager Vicki Hamilton. “The inflatable T-Rex never fails to entertain, whether it’s on the track at Emerald Downs, trampolining or surfing. You’re welcome!”
