OppoSuits gets namechecked in style edit

Outrageous suit company OppoSuits recently got namechecked by Netflix star Daniel Martens in a style interview with online news and lifestyle magazine The Spec.

Daniel is a Dundas-based actor and York University theatre student who has played a lizard person, variations on ghosts, a faceless monster and more in shows like the Netflix hit ‘Paranormal Survivor, My Paranoia Nightmare and Murder Wall.

As part of the interview, which discussed fashion and style, Daniel was asked about his ‘most eye-catching piece’.

“It would have to be a suit I bought about two years ago from a company called OppoSuits,” he revealed. “It’s a black suit, but it’s covered in a blue Star Wars pattern. As odd as that sounds, it’s actually a really nice jacket and it’s a full suit – a jacket, tie and pants.”

He continued: “I’ve worn it to concerts around Christmastime, I’ve worn it throughout the summer. I’ve actually worn it to an audition… people always come up and they go, what’s that pattern? From a distance it’s got, like, little white flecks on it for stars. So, people just think, oh look, it’s a star pattern or something like that. But then they’ll come up and be like, oh, it’s Star Wars. That’s really cool.”

He referred to it again when asked about his most fun fashion purchase. “The Star Wars suit, definitely. I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it, whether just using the pants or just using the blazer or just using the tie. That’s definitely been my most fun purchase!”
