“It’s key to put the customer first;” Fran Hales reveals Bristol Novelty’s plan for Angels Open Days

Angels Open Days will be three days dedicated to costume and fancy dress, taking place in London at the end of the month (Sunday 31 March – Tuesday 2 April 2019).Fran Hales, marketing manager at Bristol Novelty, reveals the company’s plans for the show.

What do the Open Days offer you that other trade shows don’t?

“We are really looking forward to the Open Days as it gives us a chance to catch up with our industry friends and customers. The Open Days present the opportunity for us to showcase our new ranges on a smaller scale with more focus on quality time talking to potential new customers and existing, in comparison to that which you may get at larger trade shows.”

What do they offer retailers and buyers that the other trade shows don’t?

“For customers who missed the trade shows or do not want to attend them, it gives them a chance to see and experience first-hand what we are doing as a company in particular and what we can offer the industry. I hope retail and buyers who may have not considered Bristol Novelty in the past will drop in to see us, as they will be in for a surprise as to what we are doing here and the exciting new products we can offer them.”

What will you be taking along to show retailers this year? What’s new?

“Oh we have lots of new lines to show off this year. We encourage retailers to see our new wig packaging, which provides a universal and very stylish look for instore displays. There will be costumes and accessories from our vibrant 80s range, exclusive generic costumes considerations and of course our new Halloween and circus costumes.”

Will you be offering any show specials or deals?

“We are looking into a special Open Day offer for any orders placed on the day – we’ll keep you posted!”

What’s the highlight of the event for you?

“The highlight will be showing everyone the changes being made at Bristol Novelty and what we have to offer them. We love meeting retailers and buyers as it gives us the opportunity to not just show what we can offer, but to find out what they are looking for from us. It’s key to us to put the customer first and to help our high street businesses, particularly in these challenging times.”

Anything else you would like to say?

“All I can say is come visit us as we have so much to tell you about and we can’t wait to show you what we can provide as your trade supplier.”
