Halloween & Party Expo 2019: exhibitors’ verdict

In what has been widely hailed as a very successful show, PartyWorldwide.net caught up with several H&P Expo exhibitors for their feedback on customers seen, business conducted and the general state of the market for the party and Halloween sector.

First to offer comment was Howie Beige, executive vice president at Rubie’s Masquerade, who confirmed he felt an increase in visitor attendance, while also enthusing that the upcoming Thursday Halloween in 2019 will bring more adult participation. Find out more:

Sharing the view that visitor attendance had increased was Jelle van Der Zwet, president at OppoSuits, who felt that the visitor pool was also very international. Jelle’s thoughts (with unedited introduction) can be seen here:

However, never let it be said that a Scotsman can’t be slightly pessimistic, with Morph Costume’s ceo Fraser Smeaton feeling that perhaps it wasn’t an increased number, but regardless had enjoyed a good show and good business overall. Fraser’s thoughts can be seen here:

Finally, Maxine Andrews, vice president of sales for the US at Smiffys, was delighted at the footfall on offer and confirmed it was the strongest (best ever) show the company had experienced in New Orleans:

The full show review will feature in the next edition of Progressive Party Europe, while next year’s show dates have been confirmed as January 17 – 19, 2020. The show will be taking place New Orleans for the last time before a geographical change in location.
