Special event line-up for H&P Expo revealed

The expanded special event line-up for this year’s Halloween & Party Expo has been revealed, including $5,000 worth of  giveaways, as exhibitors prepare to take to the stage to showcase their new products and highlight new trends.

This year’s special event line-up has been expanded to include a Friday Night Fashion Show on the Haunted Trends Main Stage for the first time ever. The show will  feature new looks and products from more than forty leading fancy dress and costume companies, while buyers in the audience will have the opportunity to win $5,000 in merchandise credit while also enjoying the entertainment and networking.

The Artist Battleground make-up competition will also return for the second year running, with competitors Moon Creations, Alcone Company and Woochie by Cinema Secrets bringing their products to life on stage.

The main stage will also be put to use throughout the three-day event with additional runway shows, new product previews being streamed live from stage and a number of exclusive panels and discussions, hosted by Retail Minded.

The Buyers Club Appointment Setting Programme will also be returning again for the second year in a row, specially designed to drive relationships and order writing on the showfloor itself. The 2019 Buyers Club will provide 500 hand-selected retailers with concierge assistance and is expected to arrange 3,000 targeted appointments over the course of the show. It will run alongside MATCH!, which is a new initiative for the event and has been developed to foster relationships and enhance ROI for both attendees and exhibiting companies.

“Thank you to all of our members and retailers for providing the feedback that has shaped this year’s event,” said Michele Biordi, executive director of the Halloween & Costume Association. “We look forward to a strong event and seeing many of these new changes take place.”
