EBPC Launches ‘Partysafe’ Consumer Website

Industry organisation EBPC (European Balloon and Party Council) has launched a consumer-facing website with the intention of providing education and fun materials to the general public.

The website – www.partysafe.eu – promises the party industry an new exciting era of education as part of a wider consumer reach programme designed to improve the industry image.

As part of the EBPC’s new strategy – as decided at the AGM in February – the new online portal is strategically aimed at three target audiences; the education network, consumers and retailer members.

Education Network

EBPC has introduced some basic lesson plans aimed at targeting schools and children from a younger age. Further videos and materials aimed at younger children are in the pipeline. Current lessons focus on science, with arts and crafts lessons to follow. UK schools will be targeted first, followed by a European roll out.

Consumers

Consumers can enjoy a basic overview of the industry, along with how to use products and tips to stay safe. Initially the EBPC has focused on materials which are common to most parties, further content will be added in the future. Consumers visiting the website will be able to read real facts about the industry.

Memberships

Members can be retailers, balloon artists, venue decorators or party entertainers who demonstrate a level of professional excellence. Members will be able to access a wide range of materials and tools as well as an exclusive insurance deal. EBPC memberships help consumers know they are choosing reputable providers with reputable products.

The EBPC is formed by over 35 key manufacturers and distributors across Europe, with products spanning the globe.
