Winners of TBC’s #LiftUpSomebody campaign announced

The International Balloon Council has announced the winners of its annual #LiftUpSomebody campaign, which is held each September to help celebrate and promote National Balloon Month.

The competition sees The Balloon Council (TBC) asking balloon lovers around the world to post their best photos on social media to show how they used balloons to ‘lift up’ somebody, tagging it as part of the #LiftUpSomebody campaign.

The Balloon Council, which sponsors the photo contest and promotes the campaign, formally announced the winners at the FLOAT 2020 Convention, which is taking place from 26 – 30 January, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Winners have also been also be recognised on TBC’s Facebook page, and will receive a special gift basket filled with the hottest trending balloon items from contest sponsors Anagram, Betallic and Qualatex.

“TBC would like to congratulate all of the winners, and thank all of the people who posted photos this year,” said Lorna O’Hara, executive director of The Balloon Council.

She added: “It is great to have a vehicle like International Balloon Month to give everyone a chance to help spread the word about Smart Balloon Practices and to share the joy and positive power of balloons.”
