How important are props to the party industry in 2019?
“In an age of social media, the need to create a perfect party atmosphere is becoming increasingly apparent and important, adding those finishing touches and paying keen attention to the finer details really pays off. For the party industry, it is important that retailers can deliver these fine details through product offering to match the growing demand. Props are one way that hosts and hostesses can add those details and an extra dimension to a party.”
What trends are you seeing across the prop sector?
“We’re seeing rose gold, a recurring colour trend for 2019, take centre stage in terms of props. Think glitter centrepieces, confetti and cake toppers. Rose gold is bringing that je ne sais quoi that customers are looking to add to the party.”
Are there any stand-out best sellers for you?
“Another popular trend we keep seeing reincarnated is the DIY photobooth. This trend is hugely popular with the millennial demographic as a photobooth provides the perfect opportunity for snapping those Instagram worthy photos. Some of our best-selling photo booth prop themes include Jungle, Luau and our Social Snaps inflating photo frame.”
