Pioneer announces free virtual balloon convention

Balloon and party company Pioneer Balloon Company has announced that it will be running a free virtual balloon convention starting at midnight on Monday 30 March and running until Friday 3 April 2020.

The convention, which will be hosted on the Q Corner YouTube channel, is expected to be the world’s largest virtual balloon convention and will be running for 24 hours a day for all five days.

The programme wil consist of 100 segments across the week, which will be accessible any time of the day or night, wherever you are in the world – and it’s completely free to join.

Hosted by regular Q Corner hosts, Dominic Cassidy and Keith Stirman, the event will involve instructors and influencers from all over the globe presenting a vast array of tutorials.

With 54 instructors from 20 countries already confirmed and more being added every day, it’s a great source of inspiration, wherever you are!

“As many education classes across Europe have had to be postponed, we are delighted to be launching this online convention,” said Julie Dommett, head of marketing for Pioneer Europe. ” It’s a great way for the balloon community to keep in contact, learn new skills, and keep spirits up in these challenging times!”

Q Corner hosts Dom and Keith added: “We have a huge amount of content pouring in from inspirational balloon artists all over the globe – from amazing design ideas and new techniques through to business workshops and social media masterclasses. There will be competitions and quizzes with great prizes to be won and live online sessions too – it’s going to be great!”

To take part, simply visit the Q Corner Convention webpage, subscribe to the Q Corner channel and tune in.
