Party names add to the fun at Licensing Awards 2019

Leading party names Smiffys and Amscan added their special touch to the celebrations at the Licensing Awards 2019, which took place on Tuesday night in The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair.

Amscan got the evening off to a colourful start by lending its special touch to the drinks reception, which welcomes some 1,300 industry executives as they arrive for the evening’s festvities. The licensed balloon decor featured columns, Airwalkers, SuperShapes and other product, across a number of key licences including Frozen, Avengers, NERF and more.

Smiffys made sure it had a strong presence all the way throughout the proceedings, starting off with napkin rings and wine glass collars at the tables and finally by providing the fantastic Smiffys instant print photobooth and prop box for everyone to enjoy at the afterparty.

As part of its 125-year celebrations, Smiffys also very generously donated the star prize in the Light Fund raffle – a seven-night trip to Mauritius, worth £4,000. The lucky winner was Rosie Peck, assistant merchandiser at Next (pictured above with Dominique Peckett and Mark Schofield from Smiffys).

“We had so much fun celebrating with everyone in the licensing industry at the awards; it was great to meet the lucky winner of our star raffle prize,” said Dominique Peckett, director at Smiffys.
