Palmer Agencies reaches out to retailers

Halloween and party expert Palmer Agencies is reaching out to retailers as it announces the temporary closure of its Dublin-based head office and warehouse.

“We are following Government guidelines,” explained sales and marketing manager Sergio Battaner. “We are not essential to the national effort and as such we need to play our part in making sure the virus passes as soon as possible.”

The team is working from home wherever possible and can be contacted via telephone, email or social media. A new WhatsApp account has been set up specifically (+447711 013 828) and all contact is welcomed.

Orders can still be taken for online retailers, with staff going into the warehouse only as and when required. Delivery times will be slightly delayed.

“At Palmer Agencies, the health and safety of our staff and customers is the biggest priority,” continued Sergio. “We will assess these matters on a day-to-day basis and listen to and act on the advice and directions of the authorities.”

He continued: “Normality is affected but it is not cancelled. Normality is only paused and on stand-by. It will resume! In the meantime, we know retailers may have had to temporarily close and we want you to know we will be standing beside you when this is all over. We want to be part of your recovery and would love you to be part of our ‘back to normal’ project.”

“In the meantime, please stay safe, keep healthy, be helpful to those who need it the most, and be grateful to those who are the front line at any level,” Sergio concluded. “I ask everyone in the trade to work together. The world will need a bit of fun after all this and we all – from small shops to large suppliers – have our part to play.”
