New layout revealed for Christmasworld 2019

The world’s leading trade fair for festive and seasonal decoration has revealed the final plans for its new hall plan and layout for the 2019 show, in keeping with its 2019 motto; ‘All you wish for business’.

Christmasworld 2019, which will be taking place from 25 – 29 January, will see a number of product groups being restructured as the show moves forward to embrace new opportunities, with Hall 12 also being used as additional space.

“Christmasworld is the world’s most important ordering fair for seasonal and festive decorations,” said Julia Uherek, Messe Frankfurt’s group show director for consumer goods fairs. “We are taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the new Hall 12 to provide a circular tour for buyers.”

“With the continued growth and future oriented nature of Christmasworld, we are not only responding to the increasing demand for exhibition space on the part of the exhibitors,” adds Eva Olbrich, show director. “We also want to consolidate our leading role as a trendsetter and as a trade fair, focused on the placing and taking of orders, while also enhancing the impression of the fair as an event.”

The new hall layout and experiental concepts will also provide maximum inspiration for buyers across a diverse range of target markets Each hall will be redeveloped and based around a ‘centrepiece’, such as a special exhibition area, a complementary programme of events or a networking hotspot.

The ‘Christmas and Seasonal Decoration’ sector of the show will move into the newly-created Hall 12. This includes spring, Easter, autumn and Halloween decorations. ‘Christmas Delights’ with Christmas confectionery and culinary gifts will form the centrepiece here, along with a Special Show by 2Dezign.

The 2018 event hosted 1,047 exhibitors from 43 countries and was visited by over 43,400 trade buyers from 129 different countries.
