NABAS, the balloon and party professionals association, has now released day tickets for this year’s leading industry event for the UK balloon and party market.
Organised by NABAS, the independent event will include a big event décor build along with a number of with large scale sculptures, including a drinks reception and gala dinner as well as CBA exams and classes. Day tickets cost just £125 (+ vat), which includes refreshments and lunch.
Taking place from 5 – 7 October 2019 at The Slate Conference Centre, Warwick University, the Saturday night will then host the opening drinks reception, with masterclasses and workshops being held on the Sunday and Monday with a fabulous gala dinner on the Sunday night.
Saturday 5 October will see the Big Enchanted Decor Build with a castle, dragon, fairies and forest led by Tampilipe Corbelin of Switzerland, while Sunday 6 October will see Chris Horne teaching an airfilled decor class and a clearz class.
Other classes being held over the three-day event include: Carla Romina Finali (balloon-themed photoframe, a 6ft distortion doll, Halloween, Christmas and children’s displays), Rob Driscoll (twisted numbers, princesses), Colin Myles (tak weaving, chrome balloons, toadstools and fairies), Stuart Davies (framed scripted letters and the alternate duplet method), Tampilipe Corbelin (foamboard frames for balloon letter boards), Liz Bylett (face and body painting), Jessops (photography) and Capel Manor (floristry within decor).
“Following the success of the 2017 30th anniversary event, we’re making 2019 even bigger and better,” said Paula Ardron-Gemmell. “The full day of décor on Saturday 5 October will allow delegates to be a part of creating something truly amazing and magical.
