NABAS launches national awareness campiaign

The Balloon and Party Professionals Association (NABAS) has launched a national campaign to raise consumer awareness of the peace of mind offered when choosing to buy from fully-insured, professional NABAS members.

The campaign, which urges consumers to ‘buy with confidence’, highlights the importance of knowing your balloon and party supplier, to ensure special occasions go without a hitch.

Many consumers may be unaware of the potential pitfalls that come from using an uninsured balloon and party supplier, but a rising number of self-taught start-ups working in the industry without the correct level of insurance could compromise consumer safety; often operating with little or no industry-specific insurance, training or quality assurance.

The campaign, which will be rolled out across the UK, comprises of a series of fully customisable digital assets which members can adapt and share on their own social media feeds, email correspondence and websites. The campaign takes a united approach to demonstrating the many benefits of choosing a NABAS member for special occasions, including both safety and quality standards,as well as the high insurance cover that delivers additional assurance to consumers.

As the country anticipates loosening restrictions over the coming weeks and months, the industry will continue to prepare to reopen to help the nation resume celebrating and marking occasions with family, friends and colleagues. This preparation will culminate in a summer where parties, festivals, weddings and events may resume without restrictions, with NABAS anticipating the busiest third and fourth quarter for the industry to date.

We are excited to roll out this next campaign in preparation for (hopefully) reopening our shop fronts and welcoming customers back as they prepare to party with loved ones with peace of mind and confidence,” commented NABAS chairman George Oustayiannis.

We want the public to understand and celebrate the mark of excellence that comes with being a NABAS member, and this campaign is about providing our assurance to them that by choosing a NABAS member for their next special occasion, they are making an informed and good choice.”
