Final call to register for 2018 GOSH event

This weekend is the final chance for balloon artists to register for the hugely popular Great Ormond Street Hospital 2018 event, organised once again by balloon and party industry organisation BAPIA.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) celebrates Christmas with children from the hospital each year, holding four parties over two days, and BAPIA is delighted to have been able to support this world-famous charity for the last five years by creating the decor for these Christmas parties.

This year will be a little more challenging, as the decor has to be built in one room and cannot be installed in the party room until 6pm.

“This is a day where we get to create and be creative, while networking with other like-minded people for a fantastic cause,” said John Bowler, chief executive of BAPIA. “Then we get to relax in the bar afterwards and chat to friends old and new!”

“Every year I look forward to this and I am always amazed at the response we receive from our members, although I should know by now that this is a very popular event,” he added. “It is our opportunity to give something to some very special and deserving youngsters and I cannot tell you what a difference the decor makes to the party atmosphere.”

In total, between 1,500 and 2,000 people attend the GOSH parties, which are only possible with the support of numerous companies from around the UK. BAPIA is very happy to count itself and its members as supporters of this fantastic event.

GOSH 2018 is only open to full BAPIA members. For more details visit www.bapiaonline.com/training
