EBPC Calls On Members To Respond to EC Consultation

As the leading industry voice in Europe, the European Balloon and Party Council (EBPC) has issued a call to all members to submit a response to the European Commission’s public consultation on Single Use Plastics.

The EBPC has been particularly active recently, issuing guidance for its members, outlining the organisation’s position on the recently proposed single-use plastic legislation and advising companies on ways they can get involved and how best to answer any potentially

The deadline for the public consultation period is 24 July 2018 and so the EBPC is reminding members and other concerned parties of how to provide feedback before then. The first consultation saw approximately 1,800 responses, many of which came from NGO’s.

“We would like ALL members to submit a response,” said Suteesh Chumber, operations manager. “This is our opportunity to make a big impact on the SUP to remove balloons and balloon sticks from the proposal.”

The EBPC has provided members with a guideline on the best way to make their voices heard. A media response pack is also available to EBPC members looking for guidance on how to reply to enquiries.
