B&M launches ‘cheapest’ star costume

Budget retailer B&M Homestores has launched a complete range of children’s nativity costumes for this year, including what it claims to be the cheapest star costume available.

The discount retailer is aiming to outshine the competition with its affordable range of traditional Nativity outfits, with most of the collection retailing at just £9.99.

The range – which B&M says is already selling well – includes all the traditional Christmas story favourites such as a Mary and Joseph as well as angels, kings and the star, which is available for just £4.99.

The one-size-only star, which is available in both silver and gold, is already proving to be the most popular of the range, with sales soaring by an impressive 53%, compared to the week previous.

B&M claims that the Star is one of the cheapest on the market, with Asda’s similar star costume (which is currently sold out) retailing at just £7.
