BAPIA’s Chris Adamo tour is a huge success

The recent Chris Adamo UK and Ireland tour, which covered five cities across the UK, has been hailed as a huge success.

BAPIA organised the tour, which saw Australian balloon artist Chris travelling from Dublin to Southampton, London and Birmingham, before finishing in Glasgow.

“It was a fantastic tour, the feedback from delegates was incredible and the buzz on social media was unbelievable,” said John Bowler (chief executive of BAPIA). “We tried to make sure that the delegates would enjoy the whole experience from arrival to departure and it looks like we succeeded in that!”

Chris taught four sessions at each venue including two hands-on sessions resulting in a stunning organic cloud and a frozen castle backdrop. Each class was slightly different due to the different requirements at each venue, but this allowed Chris to show how to identify a number of possible rigging points. A number of products used in the class are not normally used in the UK but we suspect you will be seeing more and more of these now.

Comments and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. One delegate commented: “It has been amazing to learn so much from Chris and it has given me the confidence to take on so many more creative and exciting opportunities in the future… Thank you again for investing in all of the balloon professionals around the country… You have gone above and beyond!”
