The Balloon and Party Industry Alliance (BAPIA) has launched a Facebook photo competition for October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The theme for the October competition will simply be pink, and all entries must have a significant element of pink in them, or relate to a cancer charity.
Each entry will generate a £5 donation from BAPIA to a Breast Cancer charity and an announcement will be made at the end of the month as to how much was raised and who the three winners are.
The winner of each category – most likes, judge’s choice and random selected – will receive a £50 M&S voucher sponsored by BAPIA.
Chief executive of BAPIA, John Bowler commented: “We have always believed in supporting charities that have a link to our industry, which is why we have supported the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for so many years. And with a large population of women in the balloon and party industry, we felt that it was important that we support Breast Cancer Awareness Month as well.”
The competition is open to BAPIA members only and anyone who would like more information on membership can contact the organisation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
