BAPIA gains NCFE approval for training

NCFE, one of the UK’s largest further education organisations, has approved BAPIA to offer Level 1 Beginners Balloon Skills Award – Mastering the Basics.

BAPIA has invested in creating a nationally recognised training programme, working with NCFE to achieve this. NCFE is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales, MI, Ofqual and the Welsh Government.

The news means that BAPIA is now an approved training centre, and delegates choosing BAPIA classes can be confident that the level of training they receive will be of the highest standard.

John Bowler, ceo of BAPIA, commented: “Thanks to the hard work and diligence of Angie George and Sue Bowler, two of the most highly respected instructors in the industry, we can now offer a nationally recognised qualification that highlights the professionalism of our industry, and our students will have NCFE certification to prove their qualification.”

The first class takes place on Tuesday 20 September at Northwest Greetings in St Helens. With the new NCFE recognition, BAPIA has also launched The Balloon and Party Industry Training Academy, and the first of many NCFE customised qualifications.
