BAPIA has been given the honour of organising the decorations for the Great Ormond Street Hospital children’s Christmas parties for the fifth year running.
A team of dedicated BAPIA members have been organising the decor for the GOSH Christmas parties for the last five years and 2017 will be no different.
The decorating day will be held on 11 December, with the parties taking place on the 12 and 13 December. Registration details for members looking to sign up to this extremely popular event have just been released and the official closing date will be Tuesday 31 October 2017.
An exclusive opportunity for BAPIA members, this has now become a much sought-after annual event and is proving more popular each year, with over 75 members applying for the 30 places available last year.
The team will be creating décor for four parties held over two days that will see between 1,500 and 2,000 children, family and carers attending the parties and having fun.
“This day is exclusive to BAPIA members as it is extremely popular and there are always more registrations than there are places,” said John Bowler, chief executive of BAPIA. “This year we have confirmed Sue Bowler, Christopher Horne and Samuel Stamp-Dod as designers and with support from Amscan, Qualatex and BOC.”
John went on to say “This really is my favourite event of the year, it is so inspiring to see everybody working together to build the décor while also networking and building friendships.”
