Elaborate balloon decor has been taking center stage at celebrity wedding celebrations, as England footballer Rio Ferdinand presented his new wife Kate Wright with a personalised balloon display.
The couple – who were married on Thursday 27 September – have been making the most of their celebrations and have not shied away from showing them off on social media.
Towie star Kate showed off the surprise – silver helium balloons spelling out ‘Mr & Mrs’ – to her one million Instagram followers. Over 102,00 people have ‘liked’ the post, which was posted just one day after the newlywed couple were pictured in front of a white wedding-themed organic display which garnered 120,000 likes.
Kate is clearly a big fan of balloons, as her Instagram account also shows a pastel pink organic balloon display – created by London-based party organisers Reign and Rose – on display at a baby shower she organised for one of her friends.
