Raluca Runcianu has joined to lead the sustainability programme across all areas of the business.
In one of the first appointments of its kind in the industry, Raluca will oversee the sustainability programme at Amscan across party, foil balloons, latex balloons and costumes.
The new role will take a 360 degree approach, covering product, packaging, manufacturing bases, supply chains and compliance. Raluca will be collaborating with colleagues throughout Amscan’s global organisation, as well as external partners to deliver and develop practical solution to ensure the company progresses sustainable initiatives throughout its business.
Raluca is passionate about issues surrounding sustainability and looks forward to: “steering the Amscan business towards adapting where necessary, in order to meet the challenges of the future and ensure sustainable thinking becomes part of the immediate Amscan Group culture.”
